Warm and comfortable

I just wish they were a little thicker at the heel but they fit great and while not thick they keep my feet warm without sweating. Very good sock

Pros
  • Outerwear
Cons
  • Some small things

Keeps ticks away

If I'm going to buy hiking socks anyway, why don't they last twice as long and keep bugs out? I've worn them on several hikes and worked in tall grass - no ticks, no bites! HOORAY

Pros
  • Men's
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

No better than others

Bought because they needed to be shorter and more breathable than other insect screens which are heavier and above the knee. They came and one sock is knee high and the other is a little shorter but almost reaches the knee when worn. So these are not crew socks at all. There are also no coolers on the legs. In general I think I will return to a heavier version.

Pros
  • Outdoors
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Seems to work beautifully

Use these when I was walking in a very wooded area with lots of insects. I've noticed that when a few bugs get on my socks, it doesn't last long. At the end of the day it was 0 ticks and some of my friends couldn't tell. However, one thing should be noted. A bee stung me through it. Not sure if it was related or if the bee just hated the fact that I was wearing bug repellent socks.

Pros
  • Sports and Outdoors
Cons
  • Suitable

Size M in Outdoor Recreation

There is currently no item size listed in this listing, with the exception of one of the images which shows an oversize. I received a medium size. I expected a large size. Average size is 3 inches wide and foot length is 8 inches. The total length is 15 inches. They look very small, even for a medium size. Of course I can't wear them on my 11.5 inch feet. In summary I would say that these socks are unusually small but otherwise good quality.

Pros
  • Activewear
Cons
  • Good but not great
