Soft fabric that feels nice. Very comfortable for sleeping and also helps reduce hair fall compared to normal cotton pillowcase. I bought 3 different medium silk pillowcases but ended up returning 2 other brands and bought 3 more of them. Just a recommendation: hand washing is better than in a laundry bag and I just air dry instead. put it in the dryer.

I've had problems with hair loss, partly because of the pillowcases not matching my fine, fine hair. I bought a "Satin" pillowcase at WalMart and woke up a few days later to find many strands of hair on my pillowcase. Bought this after reading many reviews it is so soft and hair free!
