Works great as an extra pot. If you cook but want to prepare another recipe, it's good to have an extra pot to store the first recipe.

The lid is quite heavy compared to other lids (e.g. many flexible plastic lids that come with trays). For me, that's a downside, especially when you add the weight of the pan.

The Fit didn't need to be soaked in hot water the first time it was used, it's in my fridge now, covering my delicious dinner I made last night. Highly recommend if you're like me and always have one less dish left.

Simple worked well for me IP DUO80 8Qt 7-in-1 Multi. To remove stains, soak in hot, soapy water and add white vinegar for fragrance. I don't care about looks, but that it works!

Exactly as advertised and half the price of the engraved branding. Fits perfectly in my 8 liter pot and was easy enough to clean (although I didn't have to cook anything overly oily or colored). Will definitely buy again if needed.

For what it's designed for, it works great. When it comes to pot lids, there's not much to say. The lid itself is high quality and closes very well (keeps out odors in the fridge). As it is silicone you should be able to place it hot on the pan but I would recommend that you let it cool down a bit before putting it on. Otherwise, put it in the fridge and the lid "falls" into the pan.

The product data sheet says "Fits all 8 liter steel inner pots" but not for non-stick ceramic pots which have a slightly smaller rim , and This cover is too loose. I was hoping this lid would be slightly smaller than the branded lid which stretches to fit both. My daughter has both the signature Instant Pot lid and stainless steel pot, so I was able to make sure it matched the brand name exactly, but they don't match my (non-stick) pots either.

I cook a lot of soup and when I bought an electric pressure cooker I was wondering how I would cool the inner pot. I am 80 years old and have been making soup for a few days. I was going to use a plate to cover the pressure cooker insert but this is a great product and it fits the pot.
