Good quality best in the ring

They appear to be real copper, not plated pewter. I recommend buying real pliers with suitable force for them. Pliers or regular car pliers will NOT do the job. Purchase a tool similar in size and crimping force to small bolt cutters. There are hammer pliers, but they're not the best tool.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Nicely made, good for wiring and connection

Nice form and finish. When I first opened the package I thought the metal was pretty thin but I measured one which calculated the cross section to be a bit larger than the wire that goes into them so they should be fine if they're when Screws are not abused. I give 5 stars for exceptional products, they are good but not exceptional (I would like a bit thicker metal)

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Okay but on the thin side.

This tip is fine but compared to others I have used (Torkettle brand) this is of poor quality. The entry part of the wire is shorter and generally the whole piece is not that thick. The Torkettle was a kit and I ended up using all the 8ga tips so I restocked that brand of mounting bays but will likely buy from another supplier in the future. The job is done, but the quality and copper grade aren't that great.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Obsolete
