Description of Enhanced Car Stereo Installation Kit: GM LAN29 Buick Chevrolet GMC Pontiac Saturn with Dash Kit, Wire Harness, and Antenna Adapter – Important Notes Inside

Radio Dash kit, wire harness, and antenna adapter for installing an aftermarket radio- Dash kit works with a Single and Double din Radio- Dash kit has a black finish. ---VERY VERY IMPORTANT---- PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE----: Wire harness only works with standard non-premium amp factory systems- Not compatible with amp systems like Bose, Infinity, etc.- Red ignition wire of the new radio has to be run separately from the vehicle radio harness (factory radio plug has no ignition power wire). 2011 Silverado in Car Electronic Accessories

Good quality material and perfect fit for 2011 Silverado with double din stereo without problems. Some tabs can be made stronger. The connectors could be updated to connect the backlight cable and fix the battery cable connection.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Secret

Okay, but you have to be clear that this isn't plug and play.

everything worked fine they just need to clarify that a chevy truck usually needs some kind of module. It will work, you will just lose some functionality and they should have some instructions on how to connect to some sort of wiring harness. It doesn't connect some wires plug and play. It's a lot more complicated than that.

it fits my 2011 chevrolet traverse

it comes with a full list of all the vehicles it can work with but i was still concerned. Luckily I had nothing to worry about as it was a perfect fit. I bought a 2 din radio that was too small but using it with this kit helped. I'm sure the picture is blurry but I'm happy with this purchase. Someone helped me install it and found it easy to use.

Pros
  • perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • hard to tell

I would buy it again. good fit for car electronics accessories

This kit is great for my 2012 Sierra, if you just want to fit the base kit then you need this, however the red power wire needs to be routed separately from the wiring harness which is also included, and this cable only needs to be connected so that when you turn the key, the radio also turns on. The Hardest wasn't too bad, not the best, but pretty good, if I had to order it again I probably would.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Some small things

Does the job if you know how to handle a car

Extra wire you are supposed to run to the fuse box. This is too much work. I took my test bulb and found the power wire to the airbag bulb, which you turn off by removing the panel around the radio. I plugged it in to turn the radio on and off with a key, a much easier solution and a lot less time. I also took one of the wires that wasn't being used. It seems that the amp wire soldered it at the site of the liquidation on the radio. On GM vehicles, this is indicated by a dimmer in the wiring…

Please note this requires some work

I don't usually review but thought it was important to let people know. As another reviewer said, this is NOT plug and go. I consider myself quite handy and it took me hours to figure out the wiring harness. A separate red wire must be routed from the fuse box to the radio at the ignition lock. Depending on the vehicle type, this can be a chore and there are no instructions on how to do it. Thank god for the internet. The rest of the kit worked great as did the antenna. Just know what you're…
