Very well made steaming baskets. They are just too small for the 8 liter IP I have. I wish they were a little bigger. I think they probably fit a 6 liter IP much better.

I firmly believe that sometimes buying branded accessories just doesn't save you and this is one of those situations. I had other IP accessories and they just didn't work properly. I decided to buy a corporate brand and the boy did not disappoint. You are so perfect. I have 8qt IPs and they fit perfectly. I've used a large potato basket before and it was so nice to be able to pick them up straight. They are also durable and of good quality. Must have for vegetables and eggs!

What a great all-purpose instant pot cookware. It arrived early and in pristine condition - thanks Prime! This is my favorite accessory for steaming, especially oversized and oversized veggies. And I can easily fit 1 to 18 eggs to boil. When not in use in the Instant Pot, it also makes a great cooler. Great kitchen accessory! I chose this over the perforated insert for its lightness, durability and ease of cleaning. A great addition to any kitchen!

This is a handy little basket and I'm sure it's better and stronger than the others and of course lifts veggies off the bottom of the pot better than a stand. However, it takes up quite a bit of space in the pot and you can't put as many vegetables or steamed foods in it; I understand there needs to be a recirculation but that's a bit extreme as my veggies cook the same way with no basket and just a grid and I can add a lot more. It really all depends on how much you want to vape at once.

I needed a durable strainer for my 6 QT Instant Pot that didn't have silicone feet or handles. Why? I have a 6 liter instant pot. I use them to steam veggies like carrots and broccoli. I have also used them to pickle eggs. When I wash them I turn them upside down and spray them on the kitchen sink with a spray bottle and that usually wipes out the food residue and then I wash them. Okay, I like making potato salad or just making a hard boiled egg basket, so I can use the basket to boil hard boiled eggs while I cook the diced potatoes in the bottom of the pot. Cut the potatoes into cubes, put them in the bottom of the pot and cover with water, put the eggs in the basket, put them on top of the potatoes and cook under pressure for five minutes. I wanted to warn people that the official big hole steamer basket that was supposed to fit a 6 or 8 liter Instant Pot Ultra is too small for an 8 liter Instant Pot Ultra Ultra is!
