The bulbs were for either a 2006 4Runner or a 2006 Explorer, they work great. I wish the bulbs were labeled, they only came in a small bag, I had to work out which car they belonged to. They worked great when I found the right car.

One of the dashboards on my 2006 Ford Explorer so I couldn't see if my fuel tank was almost empty at night. I lived with him for a few years until I figured out how to access the dashboard lights. I managed to replace all the bulbs at once.

I can confirm these lights work on my 2008 Ford Explorer. There is a great video on Youtube on how to remove the dash cover and dash assembly. You don't have to disconnect the battery, but you can if you're nervous. Remove the upper dash cover without (I think) loosening the air return vent that snaps onto the cover (see attached picture). A small slotted screwdriver helps here. It is very simple and does not require much effort.
