I took the OEM version, since it was 20,000 cheaper, the store said that it was so cheap due to the fact that such a batch. A hole appeared on the case compared to the 7 series. I ated the BIOS of the ASUS WS X299 PRO motherboard to version 1001 and installed the processor and immediately found in tests that this processor was at the level of Athlon 5350 in terms of memory reading speed and 3DMark showed that the percentage was 20% slower than 7820x, I was upset, but the next day I quit new…

Pros
  • + 4 channel memory, you can get 256 bits per clock + 44 PCI-E lanes, 2 GPUs can be installed without bandwidth limitation + 14 cores are enough for comfortable work with high-poly models in Blender, allows you to preview and work with sculpting relatively quickly. + Thanks to the solder, it transfers heat to the heat sink faster and allows you to smooth out short-term high loads so that the fans do not make noise. + Suitable for testing games. + There is an extensive set of instructions for quick work with vectors and matrices.
Cons
  • - It is easy to damage the socket legs, for example, if you pull out the processor, then excess thermal paste falls on the legs. - Without the correct BIOS, both memory and calculations can be very slow (on some versions of the BIOS, the microcode of the processor is ated and the ability to work with a large amount of RAM). - The 7th generation is not so different.

Processor FAKE, old LGA 2011 - R3

This processor is called I9 9900X but after trying to install I check that it is not suitable for the LGA 2066 socket and I spoke to Intel support. They say that this QRCode on the processor does not match the description on the processor and they recommend going back with what I'm doing! There is a video online showing the difference between LGA 2011-3 and LGA 2066 and this processor is probably LGA 2011-3 from around November 2011.

Amazing processor, the best in computer components

I think it's a great product, I know most people will say the cost is too high but when I compare it with my 8 core x99 Haswell processor -E compare, it costs $1050, $970 for 10 cores is a bargain. This thing is powerful, it got high marks in gaming, productivity, business in almost all areas. This processor easily overclocks to 4.5GHz and runs at 30-35s idle and around 40-45s under load when playing at maximum settings on a 2560 x 1440 monitor at 144Hz. Tip: If you buy this processor, make…

Good Processor - Computers and Accessories

Bought this processor to get started with CAD and other high performance applications that require multiple cores. This processor exceeded my expectations. I paired it with a Corsair 360mm H150i Pro AIO. The temperature didn't rise above 67 degrees under full load. I definitely love this purchase!
