The first of these sensors I received was defective. It wasn't zeroed properly, so it always read about 7psi over the actual reading. I tried contacting intercomp support but never got a reply. I chose to replace the sensor through Revain and my replacement is working properly. I'm sorry to disagree with other comments on this sensor. It reads about two pounds from zero. I have taken extra care when storing this product so that it never wobbles, bumps or falls. I also contacted Intercomp support to recalibrate the instrument. They told me that this was not possible and that I had to buy another one. Intercomp would not offer to look at the sensor to determine if there was abuse and if not perhaps suggest a price match for a new sensor. Great looking meter. Bad…

I have had this for many years and the spring inside the valve has hardened and lost its spring making it take longer to read the value after loosening the valve. I opened it up to see if I could fix it, but the spring was so brittle it fell apart. As if the heat had burned him. I think the air from the compressor is being heated. This product needs a more reliable spring. The gauge still works, so I'll continue to use it without the spring, but I have to pull the valve out by hand unless I'm…
