This shelf is obviously designed for closet doors, but will also fit large louvered doors. Works well for holding items vertically and horizontally - the hooks hold the jamb well in our shuttered door (had to install it in the middle of the shutters where the slats were a bit more flexible). Keeps items clean and close at hand, easy to wash/clean and remove. Very happy with the purchase.

The uprights and most of the upright corner wires needed straightening. Only practical when placed outside the closet door. Hung inside, my closet door couldn't close. It is possible for the chrome finish to peel off when handled. Vinyl floors are easy to care for and flexible. It can be a good idea to combine cabinet hinge function when used inside doors.

A sturdy, well-made item for small items I want to keep out of the way. Make sure this basket will fit in the closet I wanted it for and it's quite narrow; I sent a question to buyers of this product and got an accurate measurement between hangers (thanks to everyone who replied). Thus, it adapts perfectly to the width of the cabinet door. However, I did not take into account the sink in my closet, which unfortunately blocks the basket of the item, so I cannot close the closet door! Grr. I…
