I used them in my work truck.

I've been using these in my work van for a month now and have had major glitches where they would flicker and then go out. They get very hot and die. Run these lights a lot at the same time to find interference. Only 30 days right of return. In 2 months I lost everything but 2 light pods. Complete failure!

Great flashlights for the money. Easy to connect

They are great for lighting up your trailer. I bought 2 sets and cut them in half for 5 square lights per section. They also installed 2 three position switches next to each door and in the battery to keep them powered when not connected to the truck. The headlights work great and give a lot of light. I would definitely recommend just taking 2 sets and separating them to get an even spread of light for a 20ft enclosed trailer.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Crumpled

It was a great purchase, although not very good quality.

UPDATE: I was using three LED banks in a work cart and two of the four LEDs went out and the other two started flashing rapidly turning it into a disco. If you suffer from epilepsy this can be a problem. Very affordable, easy to set up with double sided 3M tape that allows them to be broken into smaller groups of lightweight squares. Three were enough for my application, I'll leave the rest for the future. So far no problems with the light!

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Not sure

Beautiful and bright. But the method is fragile and easy to break.

Beautiful and bright. But it is fragile and breaks easily. The faucet doesn't hold very well, and when you press the light to make it hold better, the light burns out. It has a screw hole in it, but you'd better not even tighten the screw because that will burn out the light. So far after installing all the work lights I left in the back of my 27ft panel van, only half or less of them work and I installed them very carefully. I would not buy them again nor would I recommend anyone to buy them.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.!

I have a 2009 camper and have replaced all the old headlights with LED bulbs. But I had 2 small 12" twin tube fluorescent lights with a switch on each side. I wanted to get 12 LED tubes but they would cost the same as all the other lights combined. So I saw them and they worked great! I cored all the luminescent parts and attached 4 light pods to each switch. Using 3M tape I taped 4 shades where the old tube should have been. I can tell you it's a lot brighter than those old bulbs that were at…

Updated Review good for indoor lighting

bright and inexpensive. I connected them to the existing lights on my work van using the extra wire that came with them, using solder and heat shrink tubing. The glue is strong. Follow-up: More than 6 months later and most of the lamps have failed. They are only on 5 or 10 minutes a day (when my van's doors are open) and I checked the voltage at 12.8 Vdc nom. First, a pair in 4 LED modules will flash for about a week and then go out. There have been dips in winter and summer, so it's not the…

Very bright, inexpensive, a bit dim

During installation I pulled on one of the wires and ripped/turned off one of the lights in the middle and it stopped all the others working downstream. It didn't fully stretch, but apparently it was torn. I unplugged the bad light and daisy chained/used the rest of the downstream, then connected the bad light on the other end, I connected the bad light through another pair of wires on the other side of the bad light and it worked. Also don't install in the cold, they didn't hold up well on my…

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Large and bulky

Failure after 2 months. Stay away!

Once installed in my work truck they failed after 2 months at best. One slowly started to flicker, now the others are completely stuck. I assume the rest will appear soon. I live in Ohio so the weather isn't exactly perfect but I expect the product to last over 2 months. Now I have to spend more time ripping them out and buying better ones. To make matters worse I contacted customer service who clearly shows the 1 year warranty and blah blah they offered me a "40% off coupon" for it. Buy…

Works great, bright, low amperage, back tape "fur "

They're super bright! The wires are a bit flimsy, but not so flimsy that they break every time you strip the wire. The tape on the back panel held it in place long enough for me to screw in a screw. Otherwise I wouldn't trust the band for long. The distance between the wires suits me, because if you put 3-4 stretched ones, it will be bright! One thing I REALLY did was cut the wires, the latter cut almost flush with the light base itself. The insulation is thick enough for me (and I protect…
