Installation is very easy, my old pool light switch which was 5 years old burned out. I bought these as a replacement. Works fine with my transmitter. One thing I noticed is that the dial LED is very dim. So when you're outside you can't see it, so you might think it's not working. At first I was disappointed and thought it didn't work, but then I realized the LED just wasn't bright enough. The range is a bit disappointing, I thought the old switch would have more range, yes I have a newโ€ฆ

The electrician is here. Do not buy. waste of time.

Incomplete rating because I haven't tried it. I ordered this receiver and transmitter. Not impressed. Throughout my career in electrical engineering I have been involved with Intermatic products. 35 years You always had great things. One problem after another with this setup. I plugged in the RC613, tried the on/off switch and it worked great. I tried programming and the transmitter didn't seem to work. No light. I looked in to see if there was a tab for the battery, no the battery was thereโ€ฆ

The pool company that built my pool only provided a simple switch which is located in the equipment area of the pool which is quite a distance from the pool. Initially, I simply unplugged the existing on/off switch and connected the same wires to the RC613 (disconnect the switches first, of course!). However, it didn't work. After carefully reading the instructions provided, I found that the white wire needed to be connected to the neutral on theโ€ฆ
