I buy a lot of these to put around the pool to plug in boom boxes, shop vacuums, computers etc. I know pool current? They are a good 5 feet all around from the pool. The lids open well and can close around the connector for long-range splashes.

Exactly what I need! The old socket cover was broken. It was easy to assemble and fits perfectly! I really like the little snap connectors to let the cord through when the door is closed. Also, the door has a small latch that keeps it closed. If you need it, this is it!

Works as intended. I replaced a similar one in front of my house. The only problem is that upon arrival I found it was the deep version. Not as pretty as the one I replaced which wasn't as deep but it's my fault for not paying attention to the dimensions of the product. I just have to be careful walking past it so I don't bump into it and tear it off the wall.

This is a poorly designed product. It doesn't snap on all sides, only on one side and another corner. This causes two problems: 1) water can enter from the side even when closed; 2) I assume it's easy to break as it's fixed in a corner so when opening it all the force is applied to a small area which will most likely cause the plastic to break. However, as long as you are very careful when opening the box and you seal the seam with tape, it should be mostly weatherproof.

Seems to work. I am deducting a star because the installation is complicated and the instructions are not very clear. I'm very good with electrical work, but the way this is hooked up doesn't make much sense. You literally have to remove and install all the screws before screwing anything in. It's a pain when you're outside in the cold trying to plug in an outlet to get things working.
