I usually always have a lot of lightbulbs at home.

I always have a lot of lightbulbs at home, mostly medium sized ones with candelabra bases, I've used a lot of candelabra bases in ceiling lights and on the bathroom vanity. I have used the medium base on others. Only the office used the intermediate base and I don't have a supply. So if it breaks I'll have to wait until I have time to get it from my local store, but now when those inter-base lamps break I can use my supply of candelabra. Pedestal lamp with this adapter. That's convenient.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

No more intermediate base lamps!

I got tired of looking for "in between" lightbulbs for multiple ceiling fans in our house - and at the same time I switched all our light fixtures to LED lightbulbs. I couldn't find intermediate base LED bulbs anywhere in the world! Then I accidentally found this adapter. They are a great solution. I have them along with LED bulbs. Now I have a much brighter and more efficient light! And no more looking around and paying ridiculous prices for intermediate cap bulbs!

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Out of Style

Did the job. good for electrics

I tried a few plastic adapters that were too flimsy but found this one. I read the reviews on solder joints so I reinforced them a bit with some extra solder (especially on the top edge where the inner and outer halves come together) just to be sure, installed them, hit the switch and then "puff !", I stopped being Electro Man, Key Keeper and Faith Defender, I became Superman (because they all worked. I guess it's little things. >SEIGH<.). solder, they will be VERY hot (don't touchโ€ฆ
