General plastic waste. USB 2.0 transfer rate. (If you're lucky.) The only slot I used was an SD slot and a USB port. (You'll need an adapter if you want to use a micro SD card with it, I knew what was up.) I haven't touched other media formats in over a decade, so I haven't been able to test them. I had 3 different brands with the same style and the SD card is upside down in all 3. Look elsewhere. If you're just buying this to fill a slot in your tower? Use a piece of cardboard.

Outdated technology as most new cases don't have a 3.5" slot. It's USB 2.0, so it's slower than the 3.0 variant. But it works well and has good card compatibility.

I'm not sure if I received a defective unit but the one I received kept frying SD cards. Everything I tried to read corrupted the file and I had to format the card. There were some good videos that I couldn't watch later and ended up completely losing. do not buy.
