Very concentrated solution.

I like that it's really focused and effective. The amount required for my aquarium is small, so it should last for several months. I just didn't like cloudy water for a few days, but that clears up too. (25 gallon fresh water tank)

Pros
  • Like everyone else so far
Cons
  • -

Suitable for new tanks, too concentrated for tap water treatment

This product works well for neutralizing ammonia and nitrite in a new tank and chloramine in tap water, but is too concentrated for economical everyday use. A cap holds 60 gallons. Every few gallons of tap water I treat to make up or replace water is overtreated.

Pros
  • Complete Kit
Cons
  • Bleach

BE CAREFUL AS THIS IS VERY CONCENTRATED AND MAY NOT BE FOR SMALL RESERVOIRS. I HAVE A 10 GALLON TANK AND ONLY USE A DIABETIC SYRINGE TO FILL A FEW UNITS INTO IT. BECAUSE THERE IS NO GOOD INFORMATION ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU NEED TO EXPERIMENT. CHECK THE WATER FREQUENTLY. JUST MAKE SURE YOU DON'T FILL MUCH IF YOU HAVE A SMALLER RESERVOIR.

Pros
  • Nice item
Cons
  • Neutral

Great product, does everything it's supposed to.

I mainly use this on my 55 gallon tank and it works great. The tap water in my area is treated so carefully that you can literally taste the chlorine in the water and the smell is gone immediately. Small treatments require some math, and you may want to invest in some sort of dropper to measure specific milliliter increments.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • Some trouble

Great product, works exactly like Prime, more product for less money.

This product is similar to PRIME but more concentrated and less expensive than Prime. Bacteria colonize enough to clear. I only had to detox twice to relieve stress from higher ammonia and nitrite levels. I'm an avid Prime user, but the price, performance, and volume of this product is less than Prime. I would definitely recommend this product if you are an avid aquarist or if you care for expensive/sensitive species.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Sad packaging
