Description of Interpower 83013111 Solder Thickness Socket

IEC 60320 C14 snap-in power inlet for a variety of electrical applications. International current and voltage rating of 10 amp at 250 VAC, North American rating of 15 amp at 250 VAC. Polyamide PA6 housing for strength and thermal insulation, with tin-plated brass terminals for conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Temperature range of -25 to +70 degrees C. Snap-in mount and three solder tabs for permanent attachment of conductors.

Solder Socket Disappoints in Industrial Use

As an industrial electrician, I was not impressed with this product. The solder thickness was inadequate and caused multiple wiring failures .The ONLY positive was the easy installation. However, the cons outweighed this one benefit. I would not recommend this product for anyone in the industrial and scientific field..
