3 stars because it works well enough.

Finally gave this tape a try. Had some trouble at first since there is not really any instructions apart from what's on the product listing.A hair dryer won't be enough to apply it. Best to use a heat gun or an iron if applying directly to the surface. It is best to round out the corners to prevent peeling. It sticks well enough, however it is a bit too easy to peel off for what it is being sold as. I also used a bit a seam grip just to be sure.

Pros
  • Great for stretchy pant. The patch doesn’t stretch but it is flexible.
Cons
  • It is so thick and not stretchy at all so it is hot and doesn't move around well.

NOT! "tape "! in my review

This is *NOT* "tape"!OK, I wanted some "Tenacious Tape", which is "Fabric and Vinyl Outdoor Camping Gear Repair Tape".But it went out-of-stock while I was completing my order so I bought this.BUT this is *NOT* "tape"!It does *NOT* have ANY 'adhesive' (sticky) on it AT ALL!This is some kind of 'iron on patch' type thing, I don't know (you can get "denim").The "Instructions" say to use an "iron" or "blow dryer" to heat it for 5min.I bought this partly to have on hand for 'repairs' & partly to fix

Pros
  • Don’t stay stuck on that well….otherwise work well.
Cons
  • The red color may clash with certain fabric colors

Worked a LOT better than I imagined!

I designed this transfer image (reverse image on actual iron on patch). And You Can't Tell From A Distance its an Iron On!

Pros
  • Great for reinforcing work pants at the knee
Cons
  • Not what I thought

Terrible Packaging good for me

My complaint is more with the packaging than the product itself. The package is light blue in color. The instructions on the packaging was beige making it nearly impossible to read. The instructions were also vague. It says to use the iron to soften the adhesive for 4 to 6 seconds. It doesn’t indicate what the iron setting to use, indicating only the wattage of the iron used for testing.

Pros
  • Comes in a convenient size that can easily fit into a bag or purse
Cons
  • The patches may be too thick or bulky for certain types of clothing or accessories

Arrive stuck to itself and shoert

The tape arrived but it's only 50" long not 60" but the smooth surface that sticks to the fabric under heat came stuck to itself and unable to pull apart for use. So, this was folded smooth surface to smooth surface and then was exposed to heat, cause the material to stick to itself and thus unusable.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • The patches may not stick well to fabrics that are oily or greasy

Figure it out for my opinion

The product will probably be good. I used it to repair a camp chair. The tape was fine, but not a word of instruction or other information was with the product. I had to guess about iron temperature and time of adhesion. It was annoying. T he chair looks nice, so time will tell if the patch holds.

Pros
  • If you follow the instructions, it will adhere as advertised.
Cons
  • The red color may not match exactly with the fabric being repaired

Easy to use with small, low temp iron

We patched a number of spots on our Sylvan Sport Go ripstop tent. Low melting point so didn’t damage tent material. Cleaned with mild cleaner, allowed it to dry thoroughly then applied in just a few seconds. Did not try using a hair dryer.

Pros
  • Fabric Saver:Real nylon material,If your clothes get scraped, mildewed, burned, damaged after long friction, scratched, small stains that can't be cleaned, this repair patch can fix them quickly. Let your broken clothes and outdoor equipment be reused
Cons
  • The patches may not be able to repair certain types of damage, such as holes or tears

Poor instructions: my feedback

The product instructions are in a light blue background with white lettering, difficult to read. Use a Iron 10-20 seconds, they used a 800W iron and don't say what temperature setting. Use a 1200W hairdrier. 4 - 6 minutes. The product should have better color for legible instructions, better recommended temperature settings when using a iron.

Pros
  • Offers a permanent repair solution that won't come undone easily
Cons
  • The adhesive may be too thick and noticeable on certain fabrics

Horse blanket repair

Worked great to repair a large horse blanket. Was even able to cut out a simple design for the repair to make it look better. Very easy to use and adhered easy and firmly. Allowed waterproofing spray application afterward without any ill effects.

Pros
  • Best Quality Guarantee: Quality is our main concern, if you have any question, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will offer you satisfactory solution. 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed
Cons
  • The patches may be difficult to remove without damaging the fabric

strong and flexible

I read some reviews saying that this wasn't worth squat for patching the boat covers. BAHUMBUG! I had big tears in my boat covers. I simply cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and put an ironing board under it and applied the patch as directed. THEN I turned it over and did the same to the other side. Two months later we had two storms back to back. Both with winds up to 40 mph. The patches held! Sure beats spending $100,00 a piece replacing my two boat covers!

Pros
  • Allows for the customization of clothing with added patches or designs
Cons
  • The adhesive may not hold up well under exposure to UV light

Impressive product!

These strips are great.Easy to put on and are super strong.I repaired my canvas travel bag and it worked extremely well.

Pros
  • Using Method and Waterproof:The nylon tape needs to be heated by an iron or a Hair dryer for pasting. It usually takes only ten seconds. After cooling, it will merge with your restored items, which will be difficult to peel off.The repaired items can be washed in the washing machine without peeling off.
Cons
  • The patches may not be suitable for use on certain types of clothing or fabric

Would order again - great adhesion

Husband had a very large tear along the seam of his driver seat from getting in and out of the truck. I ironed a large strip over the tear and it hasn't even started to curl along the edges.

Pros
  • Ideal for emergency repairs while on-the-go
Cons
  • The patches may not adhere well if the fabric has been previously laundered with fabric softener

Chair repair. on my review.

Easy to use. Liked that I could cut to the size I needed. Less waste.Just remember when ironing to cover with a piece of printer paper so as not to scorch the material.

Pros
  • The patches are invisible once applied, providing a discreet repair solution
Cons
  • The adhesive may not hold up well in humid or wet conditions

Doesn’t stay on best in my review

This tape is easy to use and the color I wanted. But no matter how hot I make the iron, even almost melting the nylon windbreaker, it doesn’t stay glued past a couple of wearings.

Pros
  • Has a tenacious adherence tape that sticks well to various surfaces
Cons
  • The patches may not be able to repair certain types of leather or vinyl

Worked well! for my opinion

I used the material to patch burn and wear holes on my favorite auto repair coveralls. The repaired areas are holding well and saved me having to buy new coveralls. It should be good to go for years to come.

Pros
  • Provides a fast and easy fix for ripped or torn clothing
Cons
  • The patches may not work well on fabrics with a lot of pattern or design

Patches holes in pants

The colour is not exactly green, but, will do. Guys, this is iron on fabric to mend holes, tears in pants etc. Though I have seen folks use it to make designs on clothes, mainly jackets, sometimes. I would suggest that before putting it on the pant to be mended, round off the corners of the patch. Squared, pointed corners seem to catch on things and may start to peel off. Easily rounded by hand, eye, or you can use a round container as a template. This is something that is handy and way easier,

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • The patch may be difficult to cut or shape to fit specific repair needs

Not what your mom and dad used

I was impressed with this product. When you iron it on don’t expect it to come off EVER. It’s on for good. It’s a bit stiff, but I bought for repair for old jeans I wear around to work in. My mom and dad would have loved this for us kids.

Pros
  • Craft Supplies
Cons
  • The patches may be difficult to apply evenly or smoothly

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Use caution on my review.

If you are using this for anything outside in the direct sun or heat I would not purchase. Went on great at first but after the sun came out and heated it up it lifted. Yes, I cut round corners as directed so it wouldn't lift but it did anyway.

Pros
  • The iron-on adhesive remains strong even after multiple washes
Cons
  • The patches may not hold up well under friction or rubbing

This product worked well for me overall. The color I got which was for Wrangler cargo pants Kaki colored was just a shade off but I believe that is my fault as I did not order the khaki I thought the darker shade thinking it looked closer from what I saw. All in all it brought 3 basically brand new pair of work pants back to life that that otherwise I would not have felt comfertable wearing as they had a small rip/tear/and in one case burnhole. The roll I got for $10 saved $60 worth of pants…

Pros
  • This is the best iron-on patch for nylon. Remember to place a cotton cloth between nylon & iron.
Cons
  • The adhesive may have an unpleasant smell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not as much as I expected

Smaller pieces that expected. But it is posted I just pictured bigger pieces. Happy with it. Used it a while ago to fix the side of my couch where cats have scratched holes and they've held up great.

Pros
  • Can be used by people of all ages and skill levels
Cons
  • The adhesive may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions in some people
