The colour is not exactly green, but, will do. Guys, this is iron on fabric to mend holes, tears in pants etc. Though I have seen folks use it to make designs on clothes, mainly jackets, sometimes. I would suggest that before putting it on the pant to be mended, round off the corners of the patch. Squared, pointed corners seem to catch on things and may start to peel off. Easily rounded by hand, eye, or you can use a round container as a template. This is something that is handy and way easier, faster than making a fabric patch, positioning it on the pant leg, basting it in place then sewing by machine.
