This is still the most convenient way to back up files used on a PC. Word files and Excel files can be easily backed up. It even backs up the acceleration files.

Personally I wouldn't use a Zip drive for anything, it's old, slow, obsolete and has since been replaced. The timing system at my workplace should use it as a backup solution. That's the only reason I bought them. For actual use I would give this 1 star as I said it is superseded technology but for what it is I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I don't really like Zip drives. The packaging was great, they work as expected and that's about all there is to say about this item.

Use Zip disks to save your work in progress to CD instead of CD. For the large amount of work I need to save, this is the only way.
