My 9 year old daughter often complained about being cold on her way to school and prefers leggings. We have had many "warmer" GAP leggings but they weren't warm enough. She is about 60 pounds and 52 inches tall. She fits well in size M Irelia, there is room to grow. They keep them really warm and I have ordered 4 more pairs. Now she wears them almost every day and I never hear about her being cold again!

This is my second purchase. I bought a pair for my daughter a few years ago and was not disappointed! She's grown a bit so I had to buy her again in a larger size. After a few washes they started to form cotton balls, but not too much. I would recommend washing them inside out and in a laundry bag. I usually dry them. true size. My daughter is thin and has trouble finding something to fit her hips and waist. Def is not for overweight kids. they stretch well enough.
