Best cold weather gloves I've found

These gloves are the best I have found for cold weather work. They are wind and waterproof as well as extremely hard-wearing. I work on a construction site in New England and they withstand all kinds of abuse from framing, digging and roofing. They are very warm, sometimes too warm. When your hands get sweaty inside, it becomes difficult to remove them without pulling out the balaclava, which can be difficult to repair.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Looks better than feels

I am very pleased with these gloves. Very easy to put on and take off. Definitely not designed for 20 degrees. In fact, they're too warm and don't let you breathe, which is why your hands get sweaty and you're cold at 40. I've been looking for gloves for 2 years. I work at an airport loading and unloading aircraft and need the best balance of warmth, durability, waterproofing, wind protection and manoeuvrability. The other issue was that the fingers had about 1 inch of extra room between my…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
