🔇 ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator: Eliminate Buzzing Noise in Car Audio and Home Stereo System Review

No complaints. Works as intended. I installed an Android head unit, and after running six wires through my car and plugging everything back in, I started hearing a weird buzzing noise, especially when I hit the brakes. That solved the problem 100%

I like this product as it is well designed on the outside. However, it makes absolutely no difference whether it is connected or not. I have used it on my home computer, laptop and my wife's Porsche Cayenne. save your money

I was having a lot of noise from my speakers connected to an external amplifier from my computer. Whenever the graphics on the screen changed or even the mouse was moved, an annoying screeching could be heard. This silencer solved the problem! This may not work in all situations, but it fixed the loud sound on my PC.

I had very bad feedback when using the Nintendo Switch and the Auxiliary Port while it was docked. This adapter solved my problem. I can now loop audio on my computer so I can have game sound and discord to chat with friends without moving cables or bloating my ears with feedback noise. It does seem to kill the low frequencies a bit, but it's not too bad. Auxiliary cables are detachable at both ends, only one extra cable is included. The cable is really short, about 3 inches.

I have a Bluetooth connection for my car radio. However, I'm old school and still believe that a wired connection is still best for streaming audio. But there are times when the bottom isn't perfect and there's a buzz when playing a sound. Enter "ZIOCOM Ground Loop Noise Isolator". This nifty little device removed ALL background noise from my auxiliary connection between phone and main unit. Now I can hear LMFAO's Party Rock with no background noise! Every day I shuffle!

For the average user this will probably work. This eliminated the ground loop problem I had from the TV to the stereo amp. Low frequency response is quieter and distortion is fairly high below 200Hz, much flatter from 1kHz to 20kHz. I measured the graphics on HP 8903B Audio. analyzer. Overall I like the product and it didn't introduce noise in 8k+ so I would recommend it. You really can't beat what it gives you for the price. I listen to all my music digitally through I-tunes. I have a set of Bose Companion 5 computer speakers that sound great. I also use a Bose Acoustimass 5 Series kit run from a Dell computer with a Conexant HD sound card connected to a Sony 100 watt receiver. The Acoustimass was unbearable...the hum was only coming from the Acoustimass through the computer because I figured I needed to upgrade my sound card. I use these to replace a bulkier radio. I bought two ZIOCOMs, used them in two different situations, they both worked great! One was used between my computer and the audio mixer that feeds the speakers (significant noise eliminated!), and the other between my stereo and my TV (significant noise eliminated!). questions. I don't blame this unit for that, it can only be my car stereo, but when I use it there is no sound from the front channels of my stereo. Strangely, the audio only goes to the rear right channel. It's a bit crazy, but like I said, I think it's just weird with my particular stereo (1999 BMW 323i). I can't give a 5 star rating because it didn't work as I expected.
