But not a good buy. The nose is not big.

Beautiful carafe and just the right size for my Chemex. But not a good buy. It doesn't have a big spout, it's shaped like a straight edge and the coffee gets everywhere. i give it back

This cute carafe looks very elegant on any table.

This pretty carafe looks very elegant on any table. Keeps my coffee warm long enough (about 3 hours) for the amount of coffee it holds. The hole is a bit small, but that's what the bottle brush is for, and voila!

Right Size, Best Guarantee

The lid is plastic, that's the only weak point in the design, but overall it's well made. We ordered it for our home barista in January. The cover recently fell off so we contacted the seller as the warranty is 5 years. About a week later we had a block exchange. This is great for keeping the cream cold and easy to use once you get used to the flip top (opens fully with a gentle squeeze). I would order again just because of the customer service.

Cons

Not all stainless steel products: beware of the buyer

The lower, heat-resistant part of the carafe is advertised with thin, double-walled stainless steel. However, the top and handle are coated in beige plastic that's a bit shiny and silvery. This coating has swollen and peeled off. Manufacturers, if you charge that much for something, at least be honest and make the plastic look like plastic, not polished stainless steel. A solid black top and grip would have been perfectly acceptable. In fact, the thing is unsanitary and looks disgusting.

Pros
  • gastronomy
Cons
  • boring packaging

Overall this is a great little jug

Overall this is a great little jug but if you close the lid all the way and then start pouring and squeeze the handle it will bounce and open. inside it goes over the whole table. I use it for milk jugs when I have coffee guests and I tend to leave the top slightly open to allow the contents to spill out once tipped into the pouring position. But if someone closes the lid all the way, the next time you use it, there's a huge mass of cream everywhere. .

I like the slim design and it also holds liquids.

I like the slim design and it keeps liquids both cold and hot but the lid is a problem. The vacuum lock is excellent but the pouring problem. When the carafe is inverted, the lid opens and the liquid pours out, spilling in all directions. If it happened to one or two people I'd say it was the people using it, but that's it, so it has to be the lid design. You first have to open the lid and then tilt to pour, but of course you want to tilt and pour, NOT open the lid, tilt and pour - that's what…

Pros
  • 5 year guarantee
Cons
  • New competition has arrived

Handy if you like french press coffee

I have been working from home for many years (pre COVID) and one of the things that gets me going in the morning is a good cup of French coffee. press coffee. I usually make a full pot, drop half into the mug and the other half into the carafe to refill a bit later and it was all good and hot. This is a replacement for one I bought so long ago I can't even remember when the coating on the handle finally gave off a ghost and got a little rough in one spot. I felt I got more than my money's worth

Pros
  • extended insulation
