Description of ๐ŸŽฃ Daiwa J-Braid 8-Strand Woven Round Braid Line - 300M Length

8 Carrier Dyneema Braid. Soft and smooth round profile line that is more sensitive and farther casting. Best choice for spinning reels or finesse fishing. Chartreuse line is highly visible and this helps detect even the slightest line movements. Made in Japan.

super smooth and equally abrasion resistant PowerPro Superslick

I like Diawa's low prices and the super smooth line. Abrasion resistance and color fastness correspond to the more expensive Power Pro Super8slick, although it actually gets by with 8 threads, not just 4. I wouldn't spend more money on the Power Pro. What is made in Japan and not in China also plays a big role in quality. The Powerpro Superslick loses its color, wears out too quickly and costs too much in comparison. The regular PowerPro is too loud to use despite the lower price. This line isโ€ฆ

Compared to 832

Quality braid at a solid price. I've been using the 832+ hooklink on spinning reels for a number of years. It's very, very similar to Sufix. Note the slight difference in diameter between the two at specific strength ratings and sort by diameter rather than cable weight listed. For example, if you like handling a 10lb 832, you might like a 15lb J-Braid. It will be much more flexible than Fireline or regular PowerPro. Line and tip twisting occurs on lighter proposals when using some twitch baits

Pros
  • Made in Japan.
Cons
  • Frequency

Strong and soft to the touch

Bought a 20lb multi color 8 strand J braid. Very satisfied. We're talking about a 6lb mono thickness. The braid feels smooth, like mono. I don't think he cuts my finger every time I flog. I don't use gloves or anything on my finger. I usually whip with 1 ounce lead or bubble floats. I also like to see different colors when I'm throwing, which gives me an idea of how far I'm throwing. I haven't had wind knots yet. The braid does not stretch, which makes it more delicate. I walk through sectionsโ€ฆ

Pros
  • The Chartreuse line is easily visible, helping to detect even the smallest movement of the line.
Cons
  • Good but not great
