excellent brushes when squeezing the metal tighter

They work as I wanted. I took a previous reviewer's advice and clamped the metal onto the bristles in a vise before using them and had no problems. For the price, this is a great addition to my arsenal.

Pros
  • price
Cons
  • confused

Very helpful. good for round brushes

I use these brushes to apply white lithium grease in a bath to my car door hinges. Also on the bonnet sockets, bonnet lock and trunk lock. They are the perfect tool for this. You can use white lithium grease in a can, but that's much better. It's less messy than aerosol cans, which are difficult to apply accurately and precisely because they seem too harsh.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

Complete garbage. Save money

I bought these brushes to glaze gold leaf. They are complete rubbish. Not only did I have to keep stopping to pick up all the bristles that kept falling out of the icing, but I also left the icing with little bubbles that essentially ruined my piece. Damn cheap. Do not buy. you will regret it. Of course they do not accept returns. no wonder. You know his shit.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Damaged

Good product and it will work. However, the bristles are only held in place by a metal handle that "squeezes" them into place. The crimp is rather weak and allows the bristles to fall out quickly. You must crimp the metal holding the bristles to avoid significant loss of the bristles. I used a metal vise to press the metal harder than it got.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

If you don't want the bristles to fall out, look elsewhere.

I bought these to apply contact cement for an art project. They were cheap, easy, and there were several in the pack so I didn't have to worry about ruining a few with tape. These brushes almost killed my project because they were so fragile. The bristles barely touch the handle, and I spent a lot of time picking out the small black hairs from the quick-drying glue. One brush had all its bristles fall out with a very, very gentle jerk.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some mistakes
