J R Watkins Liquid Refill Lavender Review

Here's the deal. I love the lavender scent, I also love the other JR Watkins hand soap scents so I thought this would be perfect. Well, I don't know how it got past the focus group because it's literally not a lavender scent. I can't even describe it, it's almost like the smell of bitter crabgrass. Lesson learned: Don't buy a large box of refill hand soap if you've never tasted the scent.

CAUTION. It contains methylisothiazolinone, a controversial itch-causing ingredient. There are also suspicions that it is of plant origin. They list glycerin as an ingredient, not vegetable glycerin like I've come to expect from herbal products.

Incredible value when used in refillable bottles, about 1/3 soap and 2/3 water for foam bottles. The scent is wonderful and clean. I only fill up twice a month so the multipack lasts a very long time!

The smell isn't very good and that's why I chose it. My SO didn't like it either. And while it's not entirely her fault, it turns out I'm allergic to soap. So if you have sensitive skin you might want to try it before you buy a lot. Rschunimagu

I love JR Watkins Lavender Soap. I've been using it for several years. In the end I decided to buy refills in bulk as I hate only buying small bottles. This is NOT the scent advertised. It smells like a cheap perfumed fake regular lavender. I would not recommend buying if you like the real lavender scent!

Only 5 bags are included instead of the stated 6. Revain's mistake that they sell a pack of 6. For only 5 packs it's not value for money. The smell didn't impress me either. I regret the purchase.

I love JR Watkins Lavender hand soap pouch. Rather than buying another plastic pump dispenser, these bags seem to last forever. Simply fill and refill these dispensers. Good product.

Most of us wash our hands several times a day, and it's only getting more frequent since the pandemic began. I prefer this hand soap from JR Watkins as it is gentle on my hands and nails and cleans my hands well. And I love the smell and find JR Watkins bottles attractive in my bathroom and kitchen. I've saved bottles from previous purchases and just refill them from refill pouches when needed. I think JR Watkins hand soap is an upscale product worth every penny paid.

I don't like the feel of the packaging at all. Luckily, being soap refills, this is almost never seen! The fresh, herbal scent of French lavender reminds me of walking through real growing lavender. This is a stronger scent than many other brands, great for people who love it! The soap itself is also gentle but thorough and still feels great even with daily, extreme hand washing.
