Extend Your Video Source UP To 230Ft- Long range over single Cat 5e/6 ethernet cable up to 230Ft/70M with 4K/1080P signal, Power Over Cable, and Bi-Direction IR pass-through. 4K to 1080P Video Downscaling- When your local TV is 4K and the remote TV(connect to the RX) is 1080P, you can press the EDID button for 3 seconds to copy EDID from local TV, so your local TV will keep 4K resolution and your remote TV will show 1080P signal. EDID Settings- As a default, EDID will bypass from RX to TX. Press and hold the EDID button, the unit will copy EDID from a local display device. With Power over Cable (PoC) function, it’s easy to set-up and use. Essential for Multiple Device Setups

I use this adapter for my home theater setup and it works wonders for downscaling my computer`s output to 1080p .It's compact, easy to use, and doesn't require any external power. My only complaint is that the pass-through doesn't always work seamlessly, but it's a minor issue. Overall, i highly recommend this adapter for anyone with multiple computers hooked up to their TV. Not worth the frustration

This adapter was a headache to use and didn't deliver the results I expected. Despite being marketed for computers, it doesn`t seem capable of delivering clear images consistently..

Extend your HDMI device with a CAT5 or 6 cable. Pass the signal up to 70 meters without signal loss. Good quality, ABS plastic construction.
