Good for long runs.

I use this to broadcast my IP camera system to all my TVs in the house. So far, it gets the job done with a 30-foot, 40-foot, and two 50-foot lengths of HDMI cable.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Disappear

Another high quality HDMI product from J-Tech

I am using a J-Tech HDMI switcher to power this 4 port splitter and then the HDMI monitors in the lobby and auditorium. People can't believe the pictures are 60 inches to 15 feet tall. The down conversion to NTSC is equally impressive.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Repair

The product worked fine when I started using it but after a month.

The device worked fine when I used it, but after a month, if you point from the DVD player and switch back to the computer, the projector will not see the computer's image until you Close the program and do not reopen it. This does not serve the purpose of my expenses!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Availability for exchange

J-Tech 4-Port HDMI Working well, OKC Engineering Club's best find

This is an excellent four port device! Works right out of the box, just follow the simple instructions. If an old retiree like me can do it, then anyone can. We (our association) wanted to use three HDMI-enabled LED TVs for our weekly meetings. This device is the master key in this function. Along with cables, a USB to HDMI box and an extension cable, it allows the show host to connect their laptop or Apple device to the club with sound. We've used it for several meetings and it works GREAT! We

Pros
  • One year trial version

Difficult to use

You need a device to negotiate and manage the connection. Don't connect to it directly. Connecting directly will result in a 48k audio stream instead of a 192k audio stream. This is required to customize this device. I'm currently using an HDMI pass-through DAC to power this unit, but unfortunately it's only HDMI 1.3 and only accepts stereo. -. Some receivers only show you what's at the other end of their channel, others use the connection and still others downmix your stream to eg 16bit/44.1k.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Can't remember
