JVCC BOOK-20CC Crystal Clear Book Repair Tape is an ultra-clear polypropylene film tape with a non-yellowing solvent-based acrylic adhesive. It is used for book repair, label protection and lamination. JVCC BOOK-20CC is also UV resistant. Carrier/Backing: polypropylene (PP) film. Adhesive: solvent-based acrylic adhesive. Thickness: 2 mils (carrier, adhesive) 1.1 mils (carrier). Adhesion: 23 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 20 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: 32F to 140F. Elongation: 140%. Core: 3-inch diameter.

It breaks easier than I would like.

isn't as heavy as I was hoping. As a class teacher, I repaired books for many years. It tears more easily than I'd like, but it's incredibly flexible, making it good for repairing small tears in pages before they become large. It just doesn't work when the hard cover separates from the spine of the book.

It looks like thick tape, but is great for fixing.

This looks like thick duct tape but is great for attaching labels to the book covers in my library. This doesn't mean it's repair tape. I like that too the price drops drastically if I buy more than one. I have bought from this seller several times and have always been pleased with the super fast delivery. Will continue to buy.

The tape is thin, the problem with the edges of the stick I will not order again

My previous spool of this tape was a little wider and it peeled off and cut a little cleaner. The last roll I bought isn't as wide and the tape breaks diagonally more often, wasting tape and time. However, I love this product. Ideal for repairing paperback books knowing the ribbon will not yellow. It's really crystal clear, although the sticky side also shows fingerprints when you hold it in your hands. I would love to give five stars but I feel like someone who can count beans obviously…
