Description of 🌟 J V Converting UHMW PE 10 NATT0536 Polyethylene: Premium Quality and Versatility Combined

JVCC UHMW-PE-10 UHMW Polyethylene Film Tape is a 10 mil ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene film with an aggressive acrylic adhesive. Its high chemical and abrasion resistance and extremely low coefficient of friction makes this a versatile engineering material for many severe service applications. *** Would on either a blue film or white paper release liner. Applications include: rub strips on conveyors; bearings and sliding surfaces; chutes and hopper liners; dead plates; wear pads; guide rails; tool tables and fences; furniture and drawer slides/runners. UHMW polyethylene tape is used primarily in automotive and mechanical applications. Materials slide freely over tape surface with no-slip/stick tendency. High impact strength and shock-absorbing properties. Outwears Teflon many times over and is a good replacement when high-temperature resistance is not a requirement. Standards Met: Chrysler MS-CH612, Ford ESB-M3G123-B, GM 6419M. Carrier/Backing: UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) polyethylene film. Adhesive: acrylic. Thickness: 15.8 mils (carrier, adhesive, liner) 11.8 mils (carrier, adhesive) 1.8 mils (adhesive) 10 mils (carrier) 4 mils (liner). Adhesion: 50 ounces per inch (to stainless steel test panel). Tensile Strength: 60 pounds per inch (longitudinal). Service/Operating Temperature: up to 300F. Elongation: 300%. Core: 3-inch diameter.

Incredible solution for wooden drawer slides

That's cool! I bought it to make it easier to push the wooden boxes in our old house (yes, I care) and it does its job perfectly! Opening the crates is a real wrestling match. It's no fun when you cook. We tried different waxes etc but nothing seemed to help. If you stick a piece of this tape along each track on *both* surfaces (so that the tape rubs against the tape) they will be 1000% better. You use a lot of tape this way, but it's worth it. Better than a kitchen renovation! After applying…

Helps smooth rough surfaces

I bought this to use on old wooden kitchen drawers (no sliders). The foil tape sticks easily and mostly stays in place. Unfortunately, my kitchen drawers are worn out in places due to repeated use, which leads to suboptimal use of this product. While I can't say it's as smooth as glass or "exactly like" a metal rail, it's definitely better than wood. when scraping wood that causes sawdust and unpleasant noises! I may need to reapply this tape in certain areas over time, but I would recommend it

Great product for your wood drawers

We bought an old house this summer (1926) and although the kitchen drawers seemed to open and close normally despite being wood on wood my reason for buying this one product was to eliminate the wood dust that falls into the cabinets under the drawers. I got tired of washing pots, pans and other items before using them because they contained wood dust. After reading reviews of different types of tapes, I settled on this one. Now I've only had duct tape on the drawers for about a month, but…
