We bought an old house this summer (1926) and although the kitchen drawers seemed to open and close normally despite being wood on wood my reason for buying this one product was to eliminate the wood dust that falls into the cabinets under the drawers. I got tired of washing pots, pans and other items before using them because they contained wood dust. After reading reviews of different types of tapes, I settled on this one. Now I've only had duct tape on the drawers for about a month, but still no wood dust (I plan to check later if there's dust or not). good enough before it's even better. The drawers pull out very easily and smoothly. I only glued the inside of the cabinets where the drawers slide out. I taped both the bottom "ledge" where the drawers touch and the vertical parts where the drawers touch. So it looked like an L on each side. There was space between the box and this area, but I did it just in case. I wanted to make sure there was no more dust. If you're trying to solve any of these problems without replacing your kitchen cabinets, this tape is an inexpensive solution. Definitely recommend!
