My wife brought a loose canvas painting from Liberia. I read about it and decided to do my own stretch, which worked well. This forced me to stretch the painting east and after a few weeks I made final adjustments, glued some triangle brackets into this hardware and once the glue dried I removed the stretch hardware. The painting is well stretched and I have the equipment ready to go again.

As a broke art student I didn't want to spend money on it, but I had no choice after Hobby Lobby sold their cheap plastic keys. But now I'm very glad I did. These wrenches are relatively easy to install and work great for the stretcher I used them on. They also look more professional than plastic keys. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I was missing a pathetic screw, which becomes a big problem when you need something permanent.

I'll admit I'm cheaper on custom sized canvases shipped from California to Texas. One of them arrived warped, so when I hung it on the wall, the bottom left corner came off and stuck out very clearly.
