Highly pigmented, professional quality and in a wide range of colours. The colors are particularly even and beautiful on handmade products. The only downside is that I received this because I also received a portrait set and there are duplicate colors in between and the colors weren't listed in the description. While I'm happy to use harder pastels for detail, I'll probably only get handmade sets from now on.

I bought this for a pastel drawing course because I needed my own supplies. Although the teacher has material, other students will often find the colors they need quickly. You can try a variety of soft and hard pastel colors with this set, and the color palette is wide enough for beginner projects. This set was well priced, but you'll have to search the internet for the best price. The same set was $20 more expensive at some sellers.
