🪑 Richeson Brown Stool with Seat, 19 inches Review

After only a few months of occasional use, the chair collapsed. The fabric was torn and the stool is now completely unusable. I think he "heard" me talk about it and say that I wish I had gotten a plastic that folds smaller because since it's light enough, the plastic option would be easier to transport. Here's what I'm getting this time.

I bought two of these to put under our RV and use at campsites. They are beautiful and comfortable. I use mine as a stool, although my husband says his legs are too thick to comfortably use it as a stool for himself. Regardless, it's convenient for guests to sit inside! Goes well with my boho-eclectic style. :) It will be nice to use indoors when we have a home again!

Very comfortable and light; however, after only three months, the seat broke at one of three points (see photo). I'm only 160 pounds and I feel like that shouldn't be happening - at least not any time soon. (The seats on a couple of the other tripod chairs are over five years old and haven't even started to crack.) If it weren't for this major flaw I would give it 5 stars. I have a similar one with aluminum legs and nylon that I use when painting outdoors and sketching in public places where I need my materials to be reasonably mobile/light. I wanted something that looked a little more "authentic" so I could paint or sit in it at Renaissance festivals, SCA events, and similar themed events that require me to be costumed.
