I bought these to complement my latest gaming rig. I liked the rectangular connector for DVD/Blu-ray drives and so far they've worked great for that. The locking tab helps keep them in place and allows me to ensure they are secured in the case without pulling them out of their socket.

No problem, has been working great since ordering and installing it on my desktop computer for the past 2 months. The locking clip works great. CONS: In some situations you may not have enough room for a 90 degree end like serial hard drives do. - Check your settings before ordering. Most people will not encounter this problem. In my case I stuck the end of the clip into the motherboard and the straight end into the hard drive.
