I used two packs for a floor length silk dress. The color came out almost black, but I think it's my fault for using so much paint. No one could tell that I dyed the dress myself

I think it works as expected. I have an 80/20 cotton/poly blend bedspread that I wanted to dye gray. I followed the directions and mixed the polyester and cotton colors but the directions said the fabric should be potted for about an hour needed to be cooked, which isn't really doable with a king-size bedspread, so I tried my best in the washing machine (with the water heater set to boiling) and added boiling water for an hour.
