🔧 James Gasket Primary Cover Seal Review

Great Price. Lightweight and everything you need for my 2006 Sporty. It even comes with a sticker (to toss in a drawer until the next house cleaning).

Not much to say about the seal. It was the right type and fit as it should, so after a few weeks of riding there was no sign of a leak. The item was well packaged and arrived in the mail in perfect condition and faster than originally estimated.

It didn't fit my Sportster as I figured I'd have to go with the old one. The product came a few days later than promised. I had to do double duty and go back to replace the seals because they didn't arrive on time only to find the derby cap o-ring was too big. I'm glad the old ones aren't being phased out.

Primary main gasket seems to fit, not sure if it's leaking yet as I had to go to the dealer to buy a derailleur gasket that didn't fit in the kit, also went looking for a cable ring coupling, not included in the scope of delivery. A few other o-rings that didn't fit my bike but the ones I needed. Next time just to the dealer.

Bought this to make my Sportster clutch and friction plates, they worked great. A note to the manufacturer, it is best to attach diagrams as to whether some seals fit. Find out when you take them out and they disappear in your hands. Otherwise these are great pads. I bought this gasket for a 99 Sportster and realized I was wrong. It was my fault for not reading the entire description. Powersports Superstore traded in for the right pad without hesitation. I fitted the correct gasket which also earned me a 5 star rating as it is easy to install and excellent quality. I really appreciated the quick response and the many other items I received from Powersports Superstore. I will do business with them in the future.
