James Scott Crystal Covered Butter Review

I purchased this oiler in January 2020. I needed something nice as our oil sits on the counter most of the year. When I saw this for $14.99 - about the same price as glassware - I bought it immediately. It's beautiful and I love the handle on the lid - all I know is that one of my boys would have dropped it without it. I finally gave in to the fact that I need two oilers as I like to wash it before cooking a new quarter of butter. However, for double the price - $29.99 - I'll look elsewhere.

This is the BEST butter dish ever. Wide enough and high enough that the oil doesn't stain the whole dish. I had a friend who just bought it because she really liked it. Thanks to all the good reviews and sizing I made the perfect choice. I despise butter in everything and this solved the problem. It also looks very nice on the table and has great reviews. I will look into other products from this manufacturer. This is highly recommended as it should hold oil of any size including oil at Costco.

I bought this for my daughter's upcoming wedding. There has always been an oiler in my house and I cannot live without it. Notice how soft butter is for your toast and bread!
