💦 BeautyPrep Face Moisturizer by jane iredale Review

The dispenser did not dispense the product no matter how many times I pumped. After trying to get it to refill for about an hour, I tried to keep my finger on the dispenser opening while pressing the button. Now it works fine. I love this product and wish this moisturizer and liquid mineral makeup had a sunscreen formula.

I have used other Jane Iredale products and love the quality, durability, color etc. I decided to try the moisturizer with high hopes. I was disappointed. I like the smell of lemon, but it's very strong. Too strong. I like how the moisturizer feels on first application - refreshing and light - but not how it sits under foundation or powder - heavy and settling. This is a good light moisturizer and I ordered a full size after trying the trial/travel size. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. I usually love Jane Iredale products. However, I don't like the sugary lemon smell (which reminds me of furniture polish) and the packaging is really problematic. I hope I have good experience with the moisturizer but unfortunately I can't even get it from the bank. I went to Jane Iredale's website, I went to Jane Iredale's website where they recommend priming the pump even up to 10 times to make it work. I left the pump on for over a minute. Anyone have any recommendations?

The dosing system is fantastic. One squeeze and you have the perfect amount for one use without spoiling the glass. The moisturizer itself is phenomenal. I've been using it for years, it has a light scent that is so calming. My skin feels moist and not greasy. I am almost 62 years old and have 35-40 year old skin which I relate very much to this moisturizer. I have loved all of Jane Iredale's products but this moisturizer is the best of the best.
