This Janome Model 4618 Bobbin Case 627569003 is perfect to replace the original case that was damaged on my old Janome Harmony 8080 sewing machine and has saved me a much more expensive trip to the master sewing machines repair shop. . I'm sewing again!

The tensioning screw kept falling out on this bobbin case. Ironically I bought this as a backup to use with wool nylon and my twin needle so I had to reset the tension to zero. While not having the screw stay in may not be a problem, I am disappointed with the quality of this product. Even at this price I still expect the main function of a fairly simple part to remain unchanged. I hope this is an accident and I will order a new one after returning this one. All my stitches were too tight. I checked everything before looking at the new bobbin case. It turned out to be something that was too tight and didn't even have a turnbuckle to loosen it. I tried turning the wrong screw that wouldn't budge. I looked at my old bobbin case. It has two screws. Only one of them is used to adjust the tension.
