good bobbin thread

so far I have used 6 bobbins in my Janome 500e embroidery machine. I had a bobbin that was soft wound so it can be used on another machine after removing some of the thread.

Pros
  • Embroidery thread & dental floss
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

All spools had approximately 5 yards of broken thread in the spool

These spools are not wound in one piece. Constant stopping and reloading. They caused a lot of investment on my Janome 15000 due to the glue or starch used on the thread. Wouldn't recommend it. I contacted the retailer twice to return them but they never responded. I rewind every spool I buy to make their job easier.

Pros
  • Yarn and Floss
Cons
  • Drill Kit

Many spools used short threads, causing the sewing to stop and jam.

I took her to a quilt shop where we sewed all day for 4 days. When I needed a spool, I opened several packages and found that most of the spools had ends of thread sticking out. They were wound with shorter thread than necessary, so if a thread ran out and I had to open the bobbin and start sewing again, my sewing machine would stop. It was uncomfortable and I expected better quality from a Janine product.

Pros
  • sewing
Cons
  • socket needed
