Not square and difficult to remove

I am so disappointed! The patterns are beautiful, but the paper is bound in a book and there's no easy way to get it! I have to cut it out with a pocket knife! They are not perforated or anything like that. And when you then take them out of the book, the pages aren't actually square, which means you'll have to cut them off before you can fold anything, as almost all origami models require square paper. And finally, the paper is very thick, it is difficult to bend and work with it. I do not…

Paper not suitable for origami

As other reviewers have pointed out, these pages are almost impossible to remove from a bound book without tearing, and even if you do, they won't be quite square. Poor quality paper, poor print quality, terrible product

TL: Poor quality DR paper, poor print quality, paper has a dirty/torn edge when taken from a book and samples from other companies is copied . First, these are not separate sheets, but patterns on the pages of a book. There appears to have been an attempt to perforate the pages to make them easier to tear out, but for reference on how to tear them out see the attached images. Second, the paper is quite thick and not very suitable for origami. Third, I just got back from Asia and brought several

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • I will add later

This paper pack is a book made from "square" origami sheets that need to be pulled straight out of the spine. I've tried tearing the "pages" at an angle, but found that this usually results in tears and torn corners. By pulling the page straight out of the book to the edge of the sheet with the same force, I was able to do better without a hiccup. It wasn't 100% perfect either, as some of the papers were still torn or stuck together in such a way that the paper deformed or left sanding marks…
