Perfect fit and great color match

This part worked perfect in my 2013 BMW 535i. IMO better than original. BMW has gone cheap on many of the interior trim parts. Horizontal vent fins appear a little thicker and sturdier. Color matches great plus there's no other black trim close enough to compare. Fairly easy to install and not much to remove old one for install (videos online). I recommend you get nylon trim pry tools, at least 2 or buy a package, to avoid marring wood trim.

Great part, no instructions

Item for perfectly in my car and seems sturdier than the original part. However there weren't any instructions and the link to the YouTube video doesn't show entire instructions. However with patience and time I was able to figure it out. I would still recommend product.

No Instructions for my opinion

This turned out to be a very inexpensive (and quality) fix for my broken front vent. It was tough going when there are absolutely no written or video instructions from the manufacturer. I got some youtube hints from similar cars, which really helped. Halfway through I wished I had purchased the OEM complete unit but I managed to complete the task without breaking anything.The 1st photo shows the space between the OEM vent and dash trim, photo 2 shows a bit more space on the new vent. does not work if you have heated rear seats

the parts are fine and used them in the front of my car, but will not work for the rear if you have rear heated seats . overall they are good for replacing the old one and look fine ,but didn't work for my rear

BMW was going to charge $500 to replace this part. My husband purchased this and had it installed in 1/2 hr. Totally worth it!

Fits perfectly. Install is a little tricky and the instructions could be improved upon but it is still relatively easy and worth the hour I spent.

Awesome Quality, worth every penny

I can’t say how much I was impressed with the quality of this center vent grill. I was able to replace by myself and save myself a bunch of money in the process. It’s a shame that the manufacturers bang you over the head for things like this but I was so happy to find it on amazon, for pennies on the dollar, awesome quality!

Good lower cost fix

Install is actually easier on the entire part that this snaps onto, this is sort of just the fascia for the vents. But it’s not terrible to replace. I’m experienced with BMW’s and took 45 mins start to finish.BE CAREFUL with the fins in the vents. You’ll be like Eddie in Christmas Vacation with the wood fanwheel thing if you knock the fins off. Quality part that is stronger than OEM

When installing this item you need to be aware that the screw holes that attach this to top of the trim also clip in. If you don't clip these in correctly they will push the vent down and you will end up with a gap along the top of the vent as pictured by some other reviewers. Those are examples of incorrect installation of the part. Fiddly install, looks brand new and I expect it will last a long time as they have more than corrected the flaw that was inherent in the OEM part.

Fits BMW F10 in my review

Install is a little bit tricky. Please pay attention to the youtube videos especially the part that says to watch how the vent adjustments go in or youll have to redo everything.

Broke during installation somehow or came broken

Installed it just to notice it had a floppy fin. The same reason i was replacing the factory one. Complete wast of time. Definitely cheaper plastic than factory ones.

Fits perfectly, looks like new, easy to install

This vent fits perfectly, looks brand new, could not be happier with this vent. Installation is relatively easy, the only difficult part is lining up the controller level and securing on the vertical vents, but be patient and you will be fine

I replaced the original part with this one, exactly the same piece of plastic, cheaper comparing with what you pay at the dealer. I am very picky with my BMW but very happy with this part.
