The only thing I can say was the thinness of the blanket. But my son loves it. In fact, he prefers a thinner blanket, so this isn't a problem. This is where the colors really come into their own. Peter looks great. Very detailed. And on a blanket, and on a stuffed animal. I also like that Pete sits there and doesn't fall over. That's great.

I bought this set to decorate for my oldest son's birthday as there aren't many party decorations for Pete the cat. Thought it would be a great after party gift for him and good value too. It was a delightful decoration and my son was very happy. What I didn't expect was that my youngest son also liked the set, although he doesn't like Pete the Cat that much. I may need to buy another set to avoid sibling disputes. This is a cute set and the blanket is very soft as described.

Updated 11/01/19 Today when I went to wake my 3 year old at daycare, I found the edge of the blanket had been torn off and the rope was wrapped around his neck so tightly that it left red stains on his had neck. Neck. It didn't fall apart when I covered it with a blanket last night. Definitely won't give him the blanket back until I've taken the whole border off. It was terrible. My son ❤ is all Cat Pete stuff so I knew he'd be delighted when this blanket arrived. He was supposed to be here before Christmas but didn't arrive in time. Despite the disappointment I did not cancel the item. I gave it to him anyway. He loves to. Not too heavy, just the right thickness. Doesn't seem cheap like some of the comforters I've found. Could do without a stuffed animal. He already has one, better quality.

Unpack carefully - no foil or seal between the opening of the box and the item inside! I didn't hurt mine, but I was close. The cat is cute and the blanket is bright, colorful and bigger than expected. It's thin but super soft.
