Works great, looks great. The only thing I don't like is the lack of a chassis to cover the ugly interior, but that's not the fault of the product, it's the fault of my budget, so I gave it 5 stars anyway.

I read the reviews and expected at most a small dent in the hood. What I didn't expect was right out of the box. The box was in perfect condition so I don't understand why it looks like this. I haven't decided yet if I want a replacement just because the same thing is happening.

Nothing special. 2 fan speeds and light. It replaced the previous Broan but the fan was a selector switch so you had more speed settings. What I didn't like • The size of the new filter was smaller and the replacement for the old one didn't fit. Why can't these manufacturers standardize all their products? Earned a star for apparent planned obsolescence • Two-speed fans.

Buy this in November 2018 to avoid cutting new cabinets for the old vented system. We rarely use the cooker hood (several times a year) so we thought this would be a good solution to the above problem. Mainly for light purposes. However, when we turned it on at high speed 2 nights ago, it barely worked. At low speed it's so quiet I doubt it even works. Unfortunately, our one-year warranty has already expired. It's unfortunate that a product of this price (vented systems are much cheaper)…

Hood just opened and installed. So far it's looking great. Less noise than the one I shot. Good lighting. I fitted a 65w LED that I bought and this light is enough for me. Good concise style. I haven't cooked yet to judge the suction power. Would recommend at this point. I will make a second review if I find unsatisfactory issues in the future. Just a simple entry-level stainless steel hood. For the price, it simply can't be beat. The fit and finish is good, the fan is nice and quiet, the light is nice and bright and illuminates the cooking area well. You can have a conversation with someone while it's on. Installation was easy after filling the bottom of the closet with a couple of 1/2 inch pieces of plywood. Good hood. It was easy to install. I had to add two pieces of wood to the bottom of my cabinets to make them fit because the edges of my cabinet were too thin and the screw placement was on the inside. So I bought a 24" long 1" x 1" stick at Home Depot for $1.68, cut it in half with a miter saw, glued it and screwed it to the inside wall of the cabinet edges. It just worked magically. I replaced the bonnet of a 43 year old caravan because I never got to use it as the exhaust fan exhaust flap never worked and the vent was north facing; Direction we get all our extreme cold and winter winds from so I closed the vent. If I didn't keep the cupboards upstairs open in the winter, the cooking oil would freeze. Despite constant cleansing, fat kept building up until I couldn't take it anymore. I wasn't aware they made a line of non-vented hoods until I started looking for a new hood.
