Great headphones, especially for the gym. They are small and fit perfectly in the ear, do not protrude and are not very noticeable. Sound quality is good, but sometimes I wish it was louder. I haven't had any issues with the battery life either, but I also have a habit of recharging it after every few workouts. Overall very happy with this product.

I wore these when walking around the house and walking my dog. You don't stay inside. They kept falling out and I ended up buying new Pixel Buds. I bought these because they got good reviews on several YouTube channels my husband watches, but I was disappointed. Battery life was great though, I wasn't even close to being able to drain it in one use. Generally a good couple. I just wish they would fit better.

The sound was great! Made me listen to more and more of my music. Fit was comfortable. Speech intelligibility on the phone was good. My mother couldn't even tell I was wearing headphones. The controls were easy to understand and use. The only thing that needs improvement is that there's no way to control the volume via the headphone controls - if that's important to you. You can stop and play music by touching the earpiece, but you can't increase or decrease the volume unless you use the volume

I was hoping for that. I might note the missing volume controls, seriously, when I'm running I don't want to fiddle with my phone to change anything, let alone the volume, such an important thing. A deal breaker for me, you still can't use them. You can only use the right earphone, not the left one. I've had cheaper headphones that worked much better than these (And both sets still work!). My son gave it to me for Father's Day. I usually only use one earbud at a time unless I'm mowing grass. Unfortunately they didn't work independently, just the right earbud or both (not now either). In the beginning they charged faster than others and lasted MUCH longer. They never got loud enough for me to hear my audiobooks through the mower (although my cheaper models do). Music playback sounded great.

The JBL Free X headphones are a pretty good set of truly wireless Bluetooth headsets with a few obvious flaws that stop them from the best to be. Purely in terms of sound reproduction, they are outstanding for their price and design. Tests by RTings.com show that they offer a very balanced profile and I can confirm this from my own experience.
