Good speaker for the money

These speakers really complemented my 2010 Miata Grand Touring system. I just added a boosted subwoofer and with the 8 inch speakers in the doors I was missing some mids and highs. These speakers are pretty punchy and really boost the mids and highs.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Empty

Clear and LOUD! about car and vehicle electronics

I like that now I can really say what they are and the clarity of the sound. My only complaint is most likely with the head unit, and that's because these things are so damn loud that they overwhelm my door speakers so much that I can't crank the volume up to get a 6x9 bass hole in the door without getting in my ears to bleed. . .

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Having doubts

Fits my JKU 17 dash, Barley!

I bought these to replace the stock speakers on top of the dash on my 17th Jeep Wrangler JKU. They barely fit together and it took a little persuasion to get them in there and put the standard lids on. The sound is incredible! Much crisper and supports the soundbar well now. I love her! Every penny!

Value for money speakers

This is a huge improvement over the original speakers in my Toy Tundra. I've only used one and it's perfect for the center channel. Higher frequencies and voice reproduction than the standard $0.35 speakers Toyota uses. Do they look like my $20,000 home speakers? no But they do a great job in demanding environments at a fair price and deliver great sound. I am happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Concise manual

Best Speakers Ever Bought

I can't believe the quality and sound of these speakers! I bought a GX series 6x9 at the best price for my 2006 Dodge Stratus but found I could fit 3 1/2 on the front deck so I had to use the same series so a total of 4 GX series 6x9s and 2 GX's 3 1/2 plus. 2 12" subwoofers in the trunk. Overall it sounds amazing! Definitely the best system I've ever had in my car. And believe me, these little speakers changed everything! You should definitely try them (NOT FOR BASS!)

Pros
  • Outstanding Overall Performance
Cons
  • Cleanliness

really good ones: Car Audio

, I just got it today and installed it in a Wrangler. I thought I bought a higher RMS kicker. I was fooled by the ads and just left them in the dash. These NEW and great looking JBLs were 20x better at managed sound and didn't crackle like kickers - of course I used a cap to block out unwanted low frequencies, these little speakers sounded sooo much better than kickers and made me sooooo happy. the sound was crisp, clear and not muffled like my kickers

Pros
  • Easy-to-use
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Better than factory!

These 3.5 inch speakers are not designed for heavy bass, but to accompany your other front speakers. They work well at low to medium volume. Adjust the bass using the head unit settings. I only have these speakers on the dash and no door speakers so I'm already using them for dual purpose and I still love the sound. My Cerwin Vega speakers had slightly deeper bass. but they are clearer and louder I can end up with bass blockers if I buy door speakers and basically run them hello.

Pros
  • Good Stuff
Cons
  • I'll add later

With a little tweak they sound great on my system

I installed them as dash speakers in my 2015 RAM Crew-Cab 1500 with the head unit stock. I also previously installed four 6X9 kickers in the doors and an 8" 600w LoPro subwoofer behind the back seat. When I first installed these JBL GX328 3-1/2's they were a bit muffled and significantly louder than the rest of the system even when the rear fader was almost full. A little research and I found that although these speakers are 4 ohms impedance, the factory dashboard speakers are 8 ohms impedance.

  • . Best in Niche
