I installed them as dash speakers in my 2015 RAM Crew-Cab 1500 with the head unit stock. I also previously installed four 6X9 kickers in the doors and an 8" 600w LoPro subwoofer behind the back seat. When I first installed these JBL GX328 3-1/2's they were a bit muffled and significantly louder than the rest of the system even when the rear fader was almost full. A little research and I found that although these speakers are 4 ohms impedance, the factory dashboard speakers are 8 ohms impedance. So I added a 5 ohm resistor and a 4 inch bass blocker to each speaker and now my system is well balanced and these speakers sound GREAT as part of the overall system! The soundstage and overall sound quality is as close to perfection as it gets. I mostly listen to classic rock and modern blues/rockers like Joe Bonamassa and Gov't Mule and let me tell you this system sounds incredible with pounding bass, great mids and clear but not overbearing highs. . happy me By the way, everything except the truck can be bought from Revain. Now I'm looking at the Alpine MRV-F300 but I'm not sure.
