Replacement for John Deere 5520

This was a simple replacement for the factory radio in my John Deer 5520 tractor. All wiring for 4 speakers was present. I only have two speakers in the tractor cab. Very satisfied.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Discontinued

Good basic stereo with CD player

Good stereo for tough use. It was installed in a private car. It's long, 6-1/4 inches, but installs with little to no issues. The controls are simple and clear.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Great sound, easy to read and comfortable controls

Great sound, easy to use, logical controls. Put one in my truck, easy to work on the go, even with big hands and fingers. I really liked it, made 2nd place in the car for daily driving.

Pros
  • Robust workmanship
Cons
  • Many functions

Solid stereo. best car radios

I chose this item after reading reviews from previous customers. I didn't need all those fancy lights etc. I found the device simple and reliable and easy to use. Connected four (4) speakers and works great.

Pros
  • weight
Cons
  • availability for exchange

It's really hard work.

This radio/CD player worked great as a replacement for the crappy Sony that came with my motorhome. It took a while to make an adapter that would work with the existing wiring, but the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. It has a direct (wired) input for my satellite radio. It doesn't have the wildly flashing backlit dials that most others offer (thank goodness), but it's a fine basic radio that works well. Bean

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Good overall but...

Old school style and good quality

I have never used Jensen radios. I was looking for a car stereo/CD player that avoided all of the flashy backlighting/color brightness that EVERY radio seems to have. I drive an old Wrangler and love the look of the factory radio, but mine failed in so many ways. I didn't want anything in the dashboard to look like it was ripped out of the Star Trek Bridge console. This radio looks dated; The lighting is simple, subdued and a soft orange colour. It's easy to use and the specs show it outputs…

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • There are nuances
